Situated in central Stockholm, the 230 square meter apartment is the result of merging two smaller units within a building dating back to the early 20th century.
Enhanced Connectivity and Privacy
Central to the design was the relocation of the kitchen to a more central position, facilitating seamless access between the kitchen, living room, and dining area. A centrally located inner hallway allows guests to enter the living and dining spaces, while a separate connection between the kitchen and dining room enhances catering capabilities. Private quarters are strategically positioned at opposite ends of the apartment, ensuring privacy for each family member.
Functional Layout and Spatial Efficiency
Concealed behind a paneled door, a curved hallway with built-in wardrobes serves as a transition space leading to the master bedroom, mother’s walk-in closet, and bath. Ingeniously designed curved walls with sliding doors optimize narrow spaces, enhancing functionality without compromising aesthetics. The daughter enjoys her own dedicated section, complete with a bedroom, living area, bath, and walk-in closet.
