Passenger Vehicle Sales Surge

The Mumbai-based auto giant reported a notable 40% increase in domestic passenger vehicle sales, totaling 42,401 units in February. This growth was attributed to the launch of new variants aimed at enhancing consumer accessibility. Mahindra & Mahindra President (Automotive Division) Veejay Nakra emphasized the company’s efforts to expedite the availability of SUVs, highlighting the introduction of the Scorpio N Z8S variant and the Thar Earth edition during the month.

Tractor Sales Decline

However, the company’s total tractor sales experienced a 16% decline, with 21,672 units sold in February compared to 25,791 units in the same period last year. Despite this dip, Mahindra remains a key player in the tractor market, leveraging its expertise in agricultural machinery.
