Kia India has announced its ambitious plan to expand its sales and service network to approximately 700 touchpoints across 300 cities by the end of the year. Currently, the automaker operates 522 touchpoints spread across 236 cities, offering models like Seltos and Sonet.
Focus on Tier-1 and Tier-2 Markets
With a focus on enhancing its presence in Tier-1 and Tier-2 markets, which contribute 40% to its total network strength, Kia India aims to strengthen its foothold in these key regions.
Penetrating Tier-4 and Upcountry Markets
Additionally, Kia India is keen on expanding its touchpoints in Tier-4 and upcountry markets, recognizing the potential for growth and customer outreach in these areas.
Embracing Sustainability
In line with its commitment to sustainability, Kia India is introducing the concept of green workshops and encouraging its dealer partners to transition to eco-friendly practices. This initiative aligns with Kia’s broader strategy to promote environmental responsibility.
Kia’s 2.0 Strategy
Hardeep Singh Brar, Kia India’s National Head of Sales & Marketing, emphasized the brand’s vision for growth, stating, “As part of Kia’s 2.0 strategy, we are aiming to close the year with over 700 touchpoints, thereby making Kia more accessible to our esteemed customers.”
Certified Pre-Owned Network Expansion
Furthermore, Kia India intends to bolster its certified pre-owned network, with plans to establish 100 outlets nationwide by the end of 2024. Currently, the company operates 59 such outlets, providing customers with trusted options for pre-owned vehicles.
