By Indiesalon spearheaded the design for the inaugural flagship store of LADOR, a renowned Korean hair product brand. The client’s vision was to craft a space within LADOR where patrons could enjoy hair care services in a relaxed environment. Thus, the design concept revolved around embodying the essence of a comfortable LADOR home.
Integrating Brand Philosophy
Key architectural elements were meticulously incorporated to reflect LADOR’s brand philosophy. The bath cube, adorned in sky blue hues, became a central feature, symbolizing the brand identity. Positioned at the convergence of the house’s curve and the bath cube, the oasis table served as a focal point, creating a seamless flow throughout the space.
Enhancing Client Experience
Efforts were made to enhance the client experience by bridging the gap between the interior and exterior of the space. The connection was established by raising the interior space to the external height of the concrete floor, attracting passersby’s attention and inviting clients inside. An outdoor shower room, strategically integrated with the bath cube, piqued visitors’ curiosity, enticing them to explore further.
Residential Ambiance
To emulate the residential ambiance of LADOR, the interior space was strategically divided, with the oasis table, booth space, and bath cube serving as distinctive elements. Upon entering, patrons encounter the oasis table, featuring drawers for storage and a fluid design guiding the user flow. The path leads to the perfumer’s room, exuding luxury with black window frames and a classic glossy black finish reminiscent of European salons and lounges.
Brand Experience
The journey through the store culminates in the bath cube, concealed behind a wall, where clients immerse themselves in a multisensory experience with LADOR’s hair products. The custom-made sink, DP bathtub, and outdoor shower space facilitate a comprehensive brand experience, engaging clients’ senses and leaving a lasting impression.
The LADOR Seongsu Store stands as a testament to Indiesalon’s innovative design approach, seamlessly blending brand identity with client comfort and experiential retail.
