Bajaj Auto, a prominent two-wheeler manufacturer in India, has unveiled the 2024 iterations of its popular motorcycles, the Pulsar NS160 and the Pulsar NS200. These new variants come with refreshed designs and added features while retaining their original engine specifications.
Price in India
The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is priced at ₹1.46 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi, while the Pulsar NS200 comes at a slightly higher price of ₹1.57 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi.
Revamped Design
Both the Pulsar NS160 and NS200 showcase revamped designs, featuring a new LED headlight setup with thunder-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs). The main headlight is positioned between the DRLs. Additionally, these bikes are equipped with a new digital display that includes essential information such as speedometer, odometer, rev counter, fuel level indicator, and more.
Smartphone Connectivity
The updated digital display also offers smartphone connectivity, enabling riders to connect their smartphones to the bike and receive call and SMS notifications directly on the display unit.
Engine and Performance
The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 retains its 160cc single-cylinder engine from the previous model, delivering 17.03bhp of power and 14.6 Nm of peak torque. In contrast, the Pulsar NS200 is powered by a more potent 199cc single-cylinder engine, producing 24.13 bhp of power and 18.74 Nm of peak torque.
Rivals
The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 competes with models like the Hero Xtreme 160R and the TVS Apache RTR 160, whereas the Pulsar NS200 faces competition from the TVS Apache RTR200 4V in the Indian market.
