Tata Motors announced an 8% growth in total wholesales, reaching 86,406 units in February, compared to 79,705 units in the same period last year. The company disclosed these figures in a regulatory filing.
Domestic Sales Performance
Domestic sales witnessed a robust performance, with total domestic sales reaching 84,834 units, marking a 9% increase from the previous year’s 78,006 units.
Passenger Vehicle Sales Surge
Sales of passenger vehicles, including electric vehicles, surged to 51,321 units in the domestic market. This represents a notable 19% increase from the 43,140 units sold in the same month last year.
Commercial Vehicle Sales Decline
However, total commercial vehicle sales experienced a slight decline, dropping by 4% to 35,085 units from 36,565 units in February 2023.
