Tata Power has announced its partnership with the Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) to install electric vehicle (EV) charging points in and around the city, aiming to accelerate the adoption of EVs.
Strategic Deployment
The initiative strategically places EV charging points along crucial routes, connecting Ayodhya with nearby major cities. These routes include Ayodhya to Lucknow via National Highway (NH) 27, Ayodhya to Raebareli via NH 330, Ayodhya to Prayagraj via NH 330, and Ayodhya to Gorakhpur via NH 27.

Deepesh Nanda, CEO and Managing Director of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, emphasized the significance of these charging stations in driving the nation towards net zero emissions. He highlighted the importance of innovation and environmental stewardship in shaping a sustainable future.
Leading the Transition
Tata Power boasts an extensive network of charging infrastructure, including over 80,000 home chargers, 5,300+ public, semi-public, and fleet charging points, and more than 850 bus charging stations. This initiative underscores Tata Power’s commitment to spearheading the transition towards environmentally friendly transportation.

Gaurav Dayal, Commissioner of Ayodhya, lauded the installation of these charging points, stating that they not only enhance the city’s infrastructure but also symbolize a new era of eco-consciousness and progress.
