Battlegrounds Mobile India Pre-Registration and Game Details

The Indian version of PUBG Mobile, known as Battlegrounds Mobile India, is set to kick off its pre-registration phase starting May 18. Crafted by Krafton, the South Korea-based game developer, this announcement has sparked excitement among PUBG enthusiasts in India.

Pre-Registration Bonuses and Free-to-Play Model

To sweeten the deal for pre-registered players, Krafton has promised exclusive rewards, tailored specifically for Indian users. While the details of these rewards remain under wraps, one thing is clear – the game will be free to play on both iOS and Android devices.

Game Modes and In-Game Events

Battlegrounds Mobile India is expected to mirror the gameplay modes of its predecessor, PUBG Mobile. Players can look forward to engaging in battle royale matches, team deathmatches, wars, and more. Additionally, Krafton plans to introduce in-game events such as outfits, features, and even an esports ecosystem complete with tournaments and leagues.

How to Pre-Register

Android users can pre-register for Battlegrounds Mobile India on the Google Play Store. Simply search for the game and hit the “Pre-register” button. Alternatively, you can directly access the pre-registration page via this link – Battlegrounds Mobile India on Google Play Store.

Maps, Gameplay Enhancements, and Size Reduction

In collaboration with the first-person shooter Metro Exodus, Krafton is introducing a new game mode called Metro Royale along with several other gameplay enhancements. Players can explore a new underground world featuring themed content, spike traps, melee throwing mechanics, and more.

One notable improvement is the game’s reduced size. Unlike previous versions of PUBG Mobile that clocked in around 1GB, Battlegrounds Mobile India will be a more lightweight download, approximately 610MB in size.

Restrictions for Minors

Krafton has implemented specific restrictions for players under 18 years of age. These measures include providing parental or guardian phone numbers, limiting gameplay to a maximum of 3 hours per day, capping daily spending at ₹7,000, and sending notifications if players exceed 2 hours of playtime in a day.

While these restrictions aim to promote responsible gaming among minors, questions remain regarding age verification methods. Details on this front are expected to surface post-launch, shedding light on how Krafton plans to enforce these regulations effectively.
